Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including water heaters, drainage, and piping.
- Install and maintain pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to local building codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan installations.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and emergency repairs during unsocial hours.
- Provide accurate estimates to customers and ensure transparent communication throughout the project.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations on all job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of copper, PVC, PEX, and galvanized piping systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and plumbing layouts.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
