Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential/commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex pipe, fixture, and drainage issues
- Read blueprints and ensure compliance with local plumbing codes
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, boilers, and pumps
- Provide emergency plumbing services during on-call rotations
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
Qualifications
- Valid NC Journeyman Plumber license required
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing systems
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills
