Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and appliances (water heaters, boilers, etc.) according to local codes and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts.
- Perform quality control checks on completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs and provide estimates.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Plumber license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight or elevated spaces.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
