Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and local electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including tool organization and waste disposal.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress.
- Prepare materials and assemble equipment as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and heights.
- A strong desire to learn the trade and obtain required state licensure.
