Job Description
Shape the Future of Intelligence
We are seeking a visionary Lead AI Research Engineer to join Nexus Future Systems. As we look toward the technological horizon of 2026, we are building the next generation of adaptive neural networks and autonomous systems. This is not just a job; it is a mission to engineer the impossible and define the standard for artificial general intelligence.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical breakthroughs and scalable industrial applications. You will work in a high-performance environment with access to cutting-edge compute resources, collaborating with a world-class team of cognitive scientists, ethicists, and software architects.
If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what machines can learn and how they interact with the world, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Models: Design and implement novel deep learning architectures optimized for 2026-era computational efficiency and scalability.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Lead the long-term research strategy, identifying emerging trends in AGI, multimodal learning, and human-machine interfaces.
- Rapid Prototyping: Develop proof-of-concept systems that demonstrate the viability of futuristic technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and design to translate research findings into real-world applications.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and creative problem-solving.
- Ethical AI Governance: Ensure all research outputs adhere to strict safety protocols and ethical guidelines regarding bias, transparency, and alignment.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in machine learning, deep learning, or cognitive computing.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Kubernetes).
- Research Track Record: A strong publication record in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or a demonstrated portfolio of proprietary IP.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think several years ahead, anticipating how emerging technologies (e.g., quantum computing) will impact AI development.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
