Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to map alternative futures
- Establish innovation pipelines for emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist team with diverse analytical capabilities
- Integrate foresight outputs into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future technology planning
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation strategy (minimum 3 authoritative works)
- Certification in Futures Research or equivalent professional accreditation
