Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to develop 2026+ innovation frameworks
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on future business models
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies across global markets
- Present future outlooks to investors, clients, and industry forums
- Oversee the development of Horizon Labs' 2026 technology roadmap
- Mentor a team of innovation analysts and futurist researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published work in peer-reviewed futurist journals or major industry publications
- Experience with Delphi methodology, trend mapping, and scenario planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech)
- Proven ability to translate foresight into commercial opportunities
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of successful 3-5 year trend predictions with documented impact
