Responsibilities
- Forecast technology and societal trends through 2026-2030 horizon using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Design and lead strategic innovation initiatives with $2M+ annual budgets
- Partner with R&D teams to develop patentable solutions in emerging domains
- Present foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team of 5+ specialists
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global forums
- Integrate future intelligence into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging trends
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Portfolio of published foresight work or patented innovations
