As a key member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate foresight into actionable strategies, ensuring our products and services remain at the forefront of technological evolution. Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and climate tech domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and board members
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing concepts and validate feasibility
- Establish ethical guardrails for emerging technologies through our Future Ethics Council
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight research methodology
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or trend prediction work
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and systems modeling tools
- Deep understanding of technological convergence and exponential change patterns
- Proven ability to translate complex foresight into business strategy and roadmaps
- Certification in Futures Thinking or similar foresight methodology (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis platforms (e.g., Trendscope, Futurist)
