Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Architect scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Establish FutureForge's thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry panels
- Mentor a dedicated foresight team of 3 senior analysts
- Manage $2M annual innovation portfolio with ROI-driven allocation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or C-suite advisory roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
