Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead research in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neural interfaces)
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Present technology forecasts and innovation opportunities to executive leadership
- Mentor junior technologists and build a culture of continuous innovation
- Secure patents and publish thought leadership in top industry publications
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused project allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation skills
- Published research in IEEE or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Validated ability to build and lead high-performance innovation teams
