Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and implement robust, scalable quantum circuit architectures optimized for near-term quantum processors (NISQ).
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of quantum hardware with classical control systems and cloud-based quantum environments.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing team of quantum software engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Roadmap Planning: Define the technical roadmap for 2026 and beyond, identifying emerging technologies and integration opportunities.
- Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve algorithm efficiency, qubit coherence times, and error mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, hardware engineers, and product managers to deliver breakthrough solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced simulation environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles, quantum gates, superposition, and entanglement.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
