Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and tools
- Collaborate with construction teams on project timelines and safety protocols
- Complete detailed documentation and service reports
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Electrician License (Class A or B)
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC and Boston building codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
