Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing equipment
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with NYC electrical codes and safety standards
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials
- Document project progress and maintain safety records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NYC electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
