Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Manage projects from design to completion with safety-first protocols
- Train junior electricians and supervise apprentices
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and inspection authorities
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Proficiency with conduit bending, troubleshooting, and load calculations
- Strong knowledge of NEC, Florida Building Code, and energy efficiency standards
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
