Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NEC and NYC regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead crews on complex commercial projects and mentor junior electricians
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and building management
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and safety protocols
- Manage material inventory and job site documentation
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, circuit design, and power distribution
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and inspection requirements
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights/ confined spaces
