Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana state regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using specialized testing equipment
- Supervise apprentice electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana state electrician license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including emergency call-outs
- Experience with energy-efficient systems and smart technology integration
