Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Virginia regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Conduct system inspections and provide detailed reports to clients
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends for emergencies
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
