Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local electrical codes
- Supervise apprentices and junior electricians on complex projects
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
- Prepare detailed reports for project documentation and client updates
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio State Electrical License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and circuit testers
- Strong knowledge of NEC and Columbus municipal codes
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
