Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and compliance with codes.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, non-compliance issues, or needed repairs.
- Test electrical components and systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project progress and technical details.
- Respond promptly to service calls and complete work within the agreed-upon timeframe.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
