Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical circuits
- Ensure compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on large-scale projects
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and building management teams
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and power distribution systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills for resolving complex electrical issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Clean driving record and ability to travel across NYC boroughs
