Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC and DC local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on complex projects
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and city inspectors
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials/supplies
Qualifications
- Valid DC Journeyman or Master Electrician license required
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise in commercial/residential installations
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
