Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and high-rise residential buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications with precision
- Ensure compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead project teams for large-scale electrical installations and retrofits
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, power distribution, and VFD systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid certified
- Proficiency with Fluke multimeters, clamp meters, and circuit testers
- Strong troubleshooting skills for 480V/3-phase systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid NYC DOB Filing Number preferred
