Responsibilities
- Installation: Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of existing electrical systems to identify hazards, code violations, and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime for our clients.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients to explain technical issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job reports, time logs, and permit applications as required by project specifications.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of New Mexico.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using power tools, and understanding electrical schematics.
- Tools: Own or have reliable access to a comprehensive set of electrical tools.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 or 10-hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
