Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and wiring.
- Install and terminate conduit, electrical boxes, and devices according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on lighting fixtures and power systems.
- Ensure all job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain an Electrical Journeyman license upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and work in a team environment.
