Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare work areas by digging trenches, setting poles, and laying conduit.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and devices (outlets, switches, panels) according to local codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance and functionality.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screening.
