Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and residential settings.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to identify the source of the problem.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout and installation of electrical equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required (valid in Arizona).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of the NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
