Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to restore functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in Illinois.
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to job sites within the Chicago metro area.
