Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead small crews on projects and coordinate with contractors
- Inspect completed work for quality and safety standards
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reports
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico electrical license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
