Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to plan installations
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on project sites
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and building management
- Maintain detailed service records and project documentation
- Prioritize safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, circuit installation, and troubleshooting
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC, Seattle Building Codes, and energy efficiency standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
