Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment according to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations.
- Site Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols, conduct routine inspections, and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project status and any on-site issues.
- Tool Management: Maintain personal tools and company equipment in excellent working condition.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in California (FL candidates considered for remote or specific project roles).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers) and hand tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
