Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and NYC electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on projects
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention
- Coordinate with contractors and building management teams
Qualifications
- Valid New York State electrician license (Journeyman/Master)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
