Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations
- Conduct preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during emergency outages
- Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Mentor junior technicians during shift handovers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience required
- Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Expertise in 3-phase systems, VFDs, and motor controls
- Proficiency with Fluke meters, Meggers, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint interpretation skills
- Flexibility to work extended hours during critical projects
