Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with NEC and Texas state electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical failures using diagnostic tools and meters
- Collaborate with project teams to meet tight deadlines
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Conduct system inspections and generate detailed reports
Qualifications
- Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license required
- Minimum 3 years of field experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
