Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential buildings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately
- Ensure compliance with NYC and National Electrical Code standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using specialized testing equipment
- Supervise apprentice electricians during complex installations
- Coordinate with construction teams and building management
- Complete detailed documentation for permits and inspections
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NYC electrical codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
