Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical issues clearly and professionally.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics.
- Tools: Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
