Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan work.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate project status clearly to the team and clients.
- Assist with training junior electricians and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required (Virginia).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the electrical field.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and response calls.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
