Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties during the night shift.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system failures efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team regarding completed tasks and upcoming maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Document all work orders and time spent accurately in our management software.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience, with specific experience in night shift or emergency services preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local Chicago building codes.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations with minimal supervision.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
