Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system integrity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices in best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project records.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
