Your Role
As our Night Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in our industrial facility. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all operations run smoothly and safely during our night hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex electrical maintenance and repair on industrial machinery and building systems.
- Install, wire, and test electrical fixtures, switches, and outlets according to local and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and power outages efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with strict safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Assist in the maintenance of generators and emergency power systems.
- Document all work performed and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
- Ability to work night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
