Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and residential complexes
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for complex multi-phase projects
- Ensure compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with construction teams
- Document project progress and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in emergency response calls for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 5 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in Conduit bending, VFD systems, and power distribution
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex circuit issues
- Valid NYC DOB Filing qualification preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification
