Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and control equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
