Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with wiring, circuit installation, and equipment repair in residential and commercial settings.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize electrical tools and materials, ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts and load requirements.
- Test & Verify: Assist in testing electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and providing updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid, clean driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.
- Attitude: A proactive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to learn the trade.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends or overtime as needed.
