Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding job progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in North Carolina or Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
