Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using specialized testing equipment
- Supervise apprentice electricians and ensure project timelines are met
- Perform safety inspections and implement hazard prevention measures
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with residential and commercial wiring systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends for emergencies
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
