Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment, such as forklifts, skid steers, and backhoes.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various installation and repair tasks.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to understand project requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
