Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components using hand and power tools.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure they comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and blueprints.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues to clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Prepare work sites by clearing and cleaning areas, and ensuring proper safety measures are in place.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
