Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts and wiring routes.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide excellent customer service and explain technical information to clients clearly.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Arizona required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using multimeters, and troubleshooting circuits.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred.
- Vehicle: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Tools: Own reliable hand tools and power tools (or willingness to acquire).
