Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and government buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices when required
- Complete detailed work documentation and safety reports
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid District of Columbia electrical license (journeyman or master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit installation
