Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Texas regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance
Qualifications
- Texas state Journeyman or Master Electrician license required
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional emergency after-hours calls
